KaMS Back to Business information

August 25th, 2023

Students, and parents, can come to Kamiakin Gym to complete a lot of school business. This is an optional activity that we offer to help ease the transition back to school.  Pictures, ID card, yearbook purchase, and more can be completed on this day. Please see the long version for more information.

Call for Volunteers
We would like some help with the upcoming Back to Business Day at Kamiakin Middle School. If you are interested in volunteering, please click on this link.  Volunteering in LWSD does require you to apply and be cleared.  If you need to apply to be a volunteer in the district, click this link 

 

Purchase yearbooks, ASB membership and sports fees: https://payments.lwsd.org/ 

Families can also bring cash or check to Back to Business Day. If you would like to have the ASB member mark printed on your student ID card, you must purchase your ASB membership prior to August 25th. Otherwise, you will receive an ASB member decal to put on your student ID after you purchase.

  • PE T-Shirt: $7.00 each  
  • ASB Card: $30.00 
  • Yearbook: $25.00 with ASB, $30.00 without ASB 
  • Sports Fee: $100.00 per sport

School Photos: Dorian Studio will take student photos on Back to Business Day, August 25th and on September 6th for those that can’t come on August 26th. Students will receive an ID card with their photo. To order portraits, visit  https://mydorian.com/ 

 

Clubs/interest groups: Kamiakin offers a variety of clubs and interest groups for students to participate in throughout the school year. Students must be an ASB member to participate in club activities. Click here for more information regarding the available 2023-2024 clubs and interest groups.

Community News and Events

Are you an LWSD family in need of school supplies for your students? We will distribute free backpacks, school supplies and haircuts to LWSD students on August 26, 1-3 p.m., at the Juanita High School field and stadium. Sign ups and documentations are not required.
